Saving Energy With Enigin Means Making Real Savings
Governmental proposals are being drafted and presented around the world, regarding implementing a tax system for carbon.
Let’s take France for example, with president Nicolas Sarkozy, who recently attempted to submit his carbon tax proposal, seeing it as a leading initiative in the climate change battle. Mr. Sarkozy’s proposition was however turned down by council, who rightly judged the conditions as too lenient for the country’s largest emitters: the tax scheme contains a vast number of exemptions, mostly favorable to the most polluting industries, which seems to defeat the purpose of even attempting to reduce CO2 emissions…
It’s true that there is no real point in passing legislation that doesn’t really come close to resolving the issue at hand, and which furthermore almost insults the entire subject of reducing pollution in the first place: by making 93% of industrial emissions, except fuel based, exempt from tax, Mr Sarkozy is infuriating France’s Green Party who sees the president’s proposal as largely unsatisfactory. No real changes to CO2 emissions would be achieved and the entire scheme seems like a ploy for the government to gain financial profit.
That being said, the idea of introducing a tax for carbon is very interesting, as it would result in making energy prices rises, hence encouraging people to save as much energy as possible at home and in their workplace more importantly, to avoid spending too much on energy bills.
This is where Enigin come in - with the rise of energy prices, energy efficiency is going to be the must for all businesses. Not only do Enigin products drastically reduce the amount of energy sourced for a given appliance (lighting, refrigeration, air conditioning and motors), but they also reduce the business’ carbon footprint, which is a valuable asset at a time where all governments are trying to think of ways to dissuade business owners from polluting.
With Enigin, business owners have a guarantee that they will save money, from day 1. And as their carbon output decreases, business owners also see their green credentials go up, which will not go unnoticed by their clientele. People appreciate environmentally friendly behaviors, especially now that the world’s temperatures have started to rise, thereby showing the first real signs of global warming.
Enigin give businesses a really beneficial opportunity, to save both energy and money while lowering those nasty carbon emissions responsible for climate change.
