Enigin Training can help with Marketing

posted by enigin in General

AT Enigin plc we rely on good marketing and encourage the Enigin Distributor network to do the same when they come for Enigin Training.

We try to teach in Enigin Training that talented, observant, and clever marketing can make it much easier for their sales team to succeed.  Good marketing is a real asset, and companies that use good marketing always win more deals than those that don’t.

But, there are plenty of marketing groups out there who have, well, gotten a bit too big for their boots and although they should be leading marketing lights, they set a bad example.

Mark Zuckerberg tells G8 not to Regulate the Web

posted by enigin in General

By Steve Hill

I have reported recently on the power of the internet in overthrowing governments, let alone in helping business.

At Enigin we rely on the web to operate much of our business, as do Enigin Distributors, but does it need regulating? That has been a question that has been raised at the G8 Summit in France and Mark Zuckerberg (Mr Web) has challenges this view.

Shaky Video Changing the World

posted by enigin in General

Syria and Yemen are currently in turmoil as another Islamic country faces demonstartaions and unrest - which we see through shaky video.

I wrote a post recently, on another blog, about the power of social networking and mobile connections to mobilise ‘the people’ as had been seen in Tunisia, Libya and Egypt, it seems to have now spilled over into even more extreme and powerful middle eastern states.

Saving Energy With Enigin Means Making Real Savings

posted by enigin in General

Governmental proposals are being drafted and presented around the world, regarding implementing a tax system for carbon.

Let’s take France for example, with president Nicolas Sarkozy, who attempted to submit his carbon tax proposal, seeing it as a leading initiative in the climate change battle. Mr. Sarkozy’s proposition was however turned down by council, who rightly judged the conditions as too lenient for the country’s largest emitters: the tax scheme contains a vast number of exemptions, mostly favorable to the most polluting industries, which seems to defeat the purpose of even attempting to reduce CO2 emissions…

Media See-Saw - Enigin View

posted by enigin in General

Do you not just love the media - they swing from one opinion to another and then they are so often tainted by political angles.

Climate change and becoming energy efficient is a case in point, you will see papers and TV pick up the story and promote sensible energy use and environmental solutions - the next day they will run with the anti-climate change lobby and start calling people tree-huggers and alarmists.

注册Facebook!

posted by enigin in General

Mark Zuckerberg, 26, is one of the most admired and yet by some hated individual across most continents.

The founder and creator of Facebook, recently made ever more visible through the film Social Network, has had an incredible impact worldwide with his social networking system.

He is oft regarded as precocious but has also been named Time magazine’s “Person of the Year”, the world’s youngest billionaire seems to draw admiration and criticism where ever he goes.

Social Networking has become a target for most businesses, at Enigin we realise how important it is to get your company’s name and profile “out there” - allowing people to see the human face of a company. Zuckerberg could be about to get a major explosion of his service.

What A Difference A Day Makes

By Steve Hill

I follow my local football team, soccer team for our North American cousins, and that means a weekend can be made or broken by the result of the latest match.

I worked for the football club for many years and enjoyed the most successful time the club has experienced, since I left, and I am not insinuating it has anything to do with me, the team have struggled and suffered relegation last season (again for our North American cousins, relegation means dropping down to a lower League).

The Pope is Getting out of the Car

posted by enigin in General

The media goes loopy trying to fill 24 hour coverage.

During the past week the Pope has been taking a historic tour of Britian - remember your history, Hnery VIII and all that.

The media went into high gear and beyond. Sky News ran a series of adverts that appeared to be promoting a rock group’s tour, bizarre and then the 24 hour UK coverage took over.

If the Pope scratched his nose it seemed to commented on and if they could have put the cameras into his private rooms they would have.

We saw getting out of his car with full live commentary, with an ‘experts’ comments on the security detail, the car, the pope, the weather and so on. The car was followed to its destination and so on.

They filled in with interviews with what seemed like anybody, with some seeming a little clueless about the Pope.

I wasn’t at all interested in the Pope’s state visit but I couldn’t get away form it. 24 hour news is great for somethings but when all the nations news services are showing the same thing live, in this case an old German man on a trip, when I was trying to catch up on news but I couldn’t every channel had the same coverage!

Every Cloud….

posted by enigin in General

THE environmental disaster in the Gulf of Mexico produced a media frenzy.

Some may feel this media coverage was justified, others, including myself, feel again that most of the media, not all, swooped on the potential disaster far more than they needed to - as expected.
